I purchased a wonderful book over the weekend, Active Literature, Jan Tschichold and New Typography. I'm a big fan of modernism and the work of Jan Tschichold—this book presents over 600 color images!! I had no plans to buy the book but was so seduced by the content (there's an image of his wedding invitation!) that I ended up taking it home. The book is published by Hyphen Press, they have several images on their site, take a look!

He's a favorite of mine as well - since I was assigned to do a report on him in Lis Charman's type class!! I was so grateful for that assignment!!
Next time we have coffee - bring it for show and tell!!
