I was shuffling through my magazine archive and came across this gem — my 2001 Wired issue with temperature sensitive cover. The ink is heat sensitive and upon touching it an impression is left, just like the Hypercolor tees from the 80ties.
After a couple of tries the ink wasn't reactive, so I put it in the fridge. After a few minutes, presto!

I still have this copy of wired. I LOVE it!
Its awesome, I'm glad I kept it over the years--thought I tend to be a pack rat with all my printed materials!
